Financial Advisor – Oshawa (37.5 hrs/week)

About the role

Scotiabank is seeking a Financial Advisor for its Oshawa main branch. You will help customers plan and achieve their financial goals while delivering exceptional service in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively identify customer needs and listen to understand their objectives.
• Educate clients by providing relevant insights, expert advice, and comprehensive financial plans.
• Build holistic plans that help customers achieve short‑ and long‑term goals.
• Nurture strong, long‑lasting relationships with clients.
• Drive branch growth by meeting individual and team sales targets while ensuring a positive customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong drive to build customer relationships and deliver excellent service.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast‑paced environment.
• Capability to uncover and solve customer needs.
• Mutual Funds licence and working towards the CIFP Diploma.
