Performance Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Performance Controller to lead margin analysis for Airbus Helicopters Canada’s operational lines in Fort Erie. Reporting to the Head of Controlling, you will work closely with operational managers to ensure accurate financial decisions and drive corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review margin analysis reports for all products and services, including aircraft completions, MRO, spare parts, and manufacturing programs.
• Analyze gross margins, investigate unusual transactions, and reconcile inventory and work‑in‑process sub‑ledgers to GL accounts.
• Support month‑end closing by creating journal entries, cost accruals, and inventory provisions.
• Act as SAP FI‑CO super‑user, lead process improvements, and validate system tests from a finance perspective.
• Liaise with operational managers to explain financial results, identify drivers, and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with strong financial analysis exposure.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Expert knowledge of SAP FI‑CO (super‑user level).
• Experience with Google Workspace (GSuite) and database tools.
