About the role
The Finance Program Manager provides strategic financial leadership for World Renew’s Humanitarian & Emergency Affairs portfolio, overseeing International Disaster Response and supporting related programmes. The role ensures donor compliance, robust internal controls, and effective financial stewardship throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Lead financial oversight of the HEA portfolio, monitoring performance, burn rates, forecasts, and funding gaps, and produce executive dashboards and monthly reports.
- Manage donor‑funded grants, especially the Canadian Foodgrains Bank portfolio, ensuring compliance, budget monitoring, and financial reporting.
- Conduct financial monitoring reviews and spot‑checks with country teams and partners, assess risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Identify capacity gaps and deliver technical guidance and training to country offices and implementing partners on budgeting, reporting, and donor requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison between HEA and Finance, supporting procurement planning, financial analysis for program decisions, and cross‑functional policy alignment.
- Contribute to strategic financial planning, improve reporting processes, and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.
