Family & General Practitioner – Job Share Opportunity

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Family Practitioner/General Practitioner to join a unique job‑share arrangement. The position is split equally between outpatient clinic work and hospital or elective activities, offering a balanced mix of patient‑focused care and broader professional opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑manage a shared panel of patients with a fellow physician in a team‑based outpatient setting (0.5 FTE).
• Provide continuity of care, emphasizing collaboration and patient‑centered practice.
• Fulfil the remaining 0.5 FTE through inpatient care, emergency coverage, teaching, research, procedural work, or other professional interests.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or eligible Family Practitioner/General Practitioner.
• Commitment to collaborative, patient‑first care.
• Flexibility to split time between clinic and hospital or elective duties.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and management of primary care patients.
• Inpatient and emergency care competencies (if chosen).
• Ability to work effectively in a shared‑practice model.
