Events Manager

About the role

The Events Manager will oversee the planning and execution of property events at Delta Hotels Trois Rivieres Conference Centre. You will act as the primary liaison between sales, internal departments, and clients to ensure a seamless experience from pre‑event planning through post‑event follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all event documentation and coordinate with sales, property departments, and customers.
• Manage event logistics, room blocks, and meeting space for average to large groups.
• Ensure billing accuracy, conduct bill reviews with clients, and process final invoices.
• Identify revenue‑maximizing opportunities through up‑selling and event enhancements.
• Serve as the point of contact for customers throughout the event lifecycle, including site inspections and post‑event feedback.
• Collaborate with the Event Operations team to execute event details and resolve operational challenges.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of event management experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with at least 1 year of experience.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and communication abilities.
