Enterprise Data & Generative AI Engineer

About the role

Riverside Natural Foods is seeking an Enterprise Data & Generative AI Engineer to design and operate the data foundation that powers business intelligence, machine learning and generative AI across the company. The role will work on cloud lakehouse platforms, SAP data domains and a variety of structured and unstructured sources to deliver an AI‑ready data fabric.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ingestion pipelines for POS feeds, Nielsen syndicated data, IoT/PLC streams and unstructured sources such as documents, logs and images.
• Build ELT/ETL workflows that support analytics, ML and Generative AI use cases across structured, semi‑structured and unstructured data.
• Develop real‑time or near‑real‑time data flows using event‑driven architectures for AI‑driven applications.
• Model, harmonize and integrate SAP S/4HANA and SAP Datasphere data structures into a governed data fabric.
• Optimize pipelines for performance, cost and reliability on platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
• Support the reliable delivery of existing reports and transition them to modern technology stacks.

Required profile

• Self‑starter with strong communication skills and a positive, curious attitude.
• Deep understanding of SAP‑centric enterprise data architecture.
• Experience working with modern lakehouse environments (Databricks or Snowflake).
• Ability to design scalable, governed data solutions that meet business priorities.
