Director of Human Resources

About the role

The Director of Human Resources will lead the HR function for a fast‑growing collision‑repair platform. Reporting to the President of Collision Operations, the role oversees both centralized shared services and field‑based HR teams across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HR due diligence and integration for mergers and acquisitions, designing People Integration roadmaps.
• Align cultures after acquisitions to retain technical talent and leadership.
• Partner with senior leadership to translate business goals into talent, retention and engagement strategies.
• Provide strategic oversight of payroll and benefits, ensuring accurate multi‑region payrolls and industry‑specific commission plans.
• Direct talent acquisition initiatives, including apprentice programs and localized sourcing for skilled technicians.
• Manage regional HR Business Partners across private, public and seasonal hail operations, fostering a cohesive shop‑floor culture.
• Oversee health and safety governance to maintain compliance and a safety‑first environment.

Required profile

• Extensive experience scaling distributed workforces in retail or automotive settings.
• Proven track record leading HR integration during M&A activity.
• Strong business partnership skills with regional operational leaders.
• Expertise in payroll, benefits administration, and complex compensation structures.
• Ability to drive culture and employee relations across multiple locations.
