Digital Solutions Developer

About the role

ACCIONA is looking for a Digital Solutions Developer with strong software development and cybersecurity expertise to build secure internal applications, automations and integrations quickly, using modern development practices and AI-assisted coding tools. The role works in a fast-paced IT environment supporting internal business applications and systems, with primary office-based work and the option to work remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop secure internal applications, web tools, automations, dashboards, APIs and integrations for TGP business operations.
• Work with business and IT stakeholders to identify automation and process-improvement opportunities.
• Use LLMs and AI coding assistants to speed up development, troubleshooting, testing, documentation and code optimization, reviewing and validating AI-generated code.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization with Microsoft Entra ID, OIDC, OAuth 2.0 and SAML, following secure-by-design principles.
• Conduct code reviews, identify security vulnerabilities and insecure dependencies, and integrate REST APIs, databases, Microsoft 365 and SaaS platforms.
• Maintain technical documentation and keep applications running after deployment.

Required profile

• Strong software development background and solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience developing and securing web applications and REST APIs.
• Ability to work independently on several projects with changing priorities and ambiguous requirements.
• Quick learner of new technologies and strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript or similar.
• Practical knowledge of authentication and authorization (Entra ID, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML, RBAC).
• Advanced practical experience with LLMs and AI coding assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
• Git and modern development workflows; cloud platforms, Docker, SQL, Microsoft 365, Power Platform or CI/CD are an asset.

• Annual base salary of $80,000-$90,000 CAD depending on experience and qualifications.
