Deals Value Creation Analytics Senior Associate (Bilingual FR/EN)

About the role

PwC Canada is hiring a bilingual (French and English) Senior Associate for its Deals Value Creation Analytics practice in Montreal. The advisory team supports clients in mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring, and in deal integration and valuation realisation, helping them integrate acquisitions and maximise the value of their investments. The role sits within the Global Data Analytics community.

Key responsibilities

• Support high-profile analytics projects that show the drivers and equity story of a business to management or bidders to increase deal confidence.
• Arm management with data-driven insights to support fact-based decisions and create value.
• Structure complex problems and business scenarios within tight deadlines.
• Translate technical know-how into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders, and review and create reports and presentations.
• Work with the Global Data Analytics community, build internal and external relationships, and support business development to identify new and existing client opportunities.
• Act as a business partner and strategic advisor, answering critical commercial questions.

Required profile

• Fluency in English and French, as collaboration with English-speaking clients and colleagues is required.
• Professional experience, ideally in management consulting focused on finance and analytics, or in corporate development or M&A (e.g. private equity).
• Ability to explain technical details to non-technical people and to articulate commercial drivers clearly.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% within Canada and internationally.
• Hybrid work environment; exact expectations are discussed with the interviewer.

Required skills

• Integrating data sources and structuring, cleansing and transforming data with tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Python, Databricks or Power Query.
• Cloud data environments such as AWS or Azure, with an understanding of data architectures and scalable analytics workflows.
• Working knowledge of AI platforms such as GPT and Claude, and coding agents such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
• Experience applying prompt engineering best practices.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel; financial modelling and business case development is an asset.

The salary range is $77,500 - $127,500, with possible variable incentive pay for eligible employees.
