Day Remodel Associate – Renovation

About the role

The Day Remodel Associate works on newly renovated store departments, supporting the Remodel Lead and Day Remodel Manager. This role ensures that high‑ticket merchandise is secured, counters are built and stocked, and the shopping environment remains safe and welcoming during construction.

Key responsibilities

• Secure high‑ticket items in designated locations and scan damaged or stolen merchandise promptly.
• Print and apply mod sheets/labels, install ESLs and DSM labels, and link them as required.
• Stock a wide range of departments including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, and Fresh.
• Build and move counters using provided kits and equipment, following printed instructions.
• Maintain clearance zones and scan departments before and after setting to ensure proper in‑stock levels.
• Merchandise end‑caps, action alleys, and side counters to accepted standards.
• Assist customers in locating products and answering questions while remodel work is ongoing.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Ability to work in construction areas and wear required safety gear such as steel‑toe boots and a hard hat.
• Customer‑focused attitude with the ability to assist shoppers despite ongoing remodel activity.
• Willingness to follow safety and shrink‑prevention guidelines and work flexible day shifts in a retail environment.
