About the role
Join PC Financial’s IFRS9 team as a Credit Risk Analyst. You will help build and enhance expected credit loss models for a growing portfolio of financial products, supporting the bank’s risk management strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and improve credit loss models while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Perform in‑depth data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and potential risks.
- Apply statistical and quantitative techniques to validate, calibrate, and back‑test models.
- Translate business requirements into analytical solutions that aid decision‑making.
- Produce clear reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate model outcomes and recommendations.
- Monitor model performance, implement enhancements, and stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in risk management, credit risk modeling, or a similar analytical role within financial services.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
