About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our restaurant team in Bathurst. The role involves preparing a variety of dishes, including Cantonese and Canadian cuisine, while ensuring high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Co‑ordinate special events and organize buffets and banquets.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes, and accommodate food allergies or intolerances.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Maintain a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment while standing for extended periods.

Required profile

  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Organized, reliable and a strong team player.
  • Available for shift or on‑call work, including evenings, weekends and overtime.
