About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our restaurant team in Bathurst. The role involves preparing a variety of dishes, including Cantonese and Canadian cuisine, while ensuring high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Co‑ordinate special events and organize buffets and banquets.
- Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes, and accommodate food allergies or intolerances.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Maintain a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment while standing for extended periods.
Required profile
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Organized, reliable and a strong team player.
- Available for shift or on‑call work, including evenings, weekends and overtime.
