Food Service Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Food Service Supervisor to lead and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food in our restaurant. You will train team members on job duties, sanitation and safety procedures while ensuring excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train employees on sanitation, safety and job-specific duties.
• Address customer complaints or concerns promptly.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Prepare and submit operational reports.
• Supervise and check the assembly of trays.
• Establish work schedules for 5‑10 team members.

Required profile

• Client‑focused with strong attention to detail.
• Flexible, dependable team player able to work under pressure.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Possess a First Aid Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate.
• Clear criminal record check.
