Waiter/Waitress – Food & Beverage Service

About the role

The restaurant is seeking a friendly and reliable waiter or waitress to join its front‑of‑house team. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality service to guests, handling orders, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions about food and beverages.
• Take orders and relay them accurately to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages, mix and serve alcoholic drinks in compliance with provincial liquor laws.
• Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Present bills, process payments (cash, credit/debit cards, traveler's cheques, room billing).
• Clear and clean tables, trays, chairs and maintain a tidy dining area.

Required profile

• Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages and possess a food‑and‑beverage server trade certificate.
• Excellent oral communication, organized, reliable and a strong team player.
• Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, stand for long periods and lift up to 9 kg in a fast‑paced environment.
