About the role

Hirez Manpower Solutions Inc. is partnering with a network of Canadian hospitality employers to place qualified cooks in restaurants, hotels, resorts and other food‑service operations. This role is ideal for culinary professionals who want to build a career in Canada’s growing hospitality sector.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes following recipes and operational standards.
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, garnishing and plating while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and kitchen sanitation requirements.
• Support inventory monitoring, ingredient preparation and proper food storage.
• Collaborate with chefs, kitchen staff and service teams to keep kitchen operations smooth and efficient.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a cook or in a related culinary role.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to adapt to workplace standards and operational needs.
