Controller – Finance Leadership in Growing Logistics Firm

About the role

We are seeking a Controller to lead and strengthen accounting operations for a fast‑growing, technology‑driven logistics business. Reporting to the CFO, you will ensure accurate financial reporting while driving process improvements across the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly close, management reporting, audit coordination, and tax compliance.
• Manage core accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, working capital analysis, and revenue accounting.
• Lead cash‑flow forecasting, FP&A, and sales forecast integration.
• Supervise a small accounting team (AR, AP) and two direct reports.
• Investigate and resolve ERP‑related accounting issues, ensuring data integrity.

Required profile

• CPA designation (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including public‑accounting audit work.
• Prior experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar senior role.
• Strong operational accounting background, especially in revenue recognition and billing.

Required skills

• Oracle NetSuite / NetSuite ERP proficiency.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets.
• Experience with management reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and BI tools such as Power BI or NetSuite saved searches.
• Ability to investigate ERP issues, trace transactions, and implement solutions.
