About the role

Active Homes is seeking a motivated Construction Project Coordinator to support the planning and execution of residential projects in Edmonton. You will work closely with subcontractors, supervisors, and the project team to ensure daily operations run smoothly and projects stay on schedule.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate subcontractors' activities and supervise their work.
  • Evaluate, plan, and organize daily construction operations.
  • Prepare and submit project budget estimates.
  • Develop construction schedules, set milestones, and monitor progress.
  • Establish and enforce quality‑control policies and procedures.
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to read blueprints, schemas, and drawings.
  • Develop risk‑management plans and quality‑control programs.
  • Prepare regular project reports.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1 to less than 2 years of experience in construction coordination or a related field.
  • Willingness to participate in on‑the‑job training tailored for youth.

Required skills

  • CADD.
