Drywall Installer & Finisher

About the role

GX DRYWALL INC. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer & Finisher to join its team in Edmonton. This full‑time permanent position involves on‑the‑road work, primarily during early‑morning and day shifts, delivering high‑quality drywall finishes for commercial and residential projects.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs and joists.
• Apply successive coats of joint compound, sand seams and joints, and smooth excess material.
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
• Fill nail indentations, holes and cracks using a trowel and broad knife.
• Operate a taping machine to embed tape in compound and ensure seamless joints.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on various job sites.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 2 to less than 3 years of hands‑on experience in drywall installation and finishing.
• Ability to work early‑morning, morning or day shifts and travel to job sites.
