Skilled Carpenter – Full-time Permanent Position

About the role

We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our construction team in Edmonton on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves working on diverse building sites, handling a variety of materials, and delivering high-quality structural work under tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other construction materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub-flooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Work at heights in noisy, dusty, outdoor environments across multiple locations.
• Travel to job sites as required, with travel expenses covered by the employer.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on carpentry experience.
• Physically capable of bending, crouching, kneeling and handling heavy loads.
• Accurate, reliable, punctual and a strong team player.
• Willingness to relocate; relocation costs are covered.
