Construction Project Coordinator

About the role

EWC CANADA is looking for a full‑time Construction Project Coordinator to join the Edmonton Altea Project on a 5‑month contract. You will support the Project Manager in coordinating drawings, documentation, and change orders while ensuring smooth communication among clients, sub‑trades, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Distribute and manage project drawings.
• Maintain project registers and project‑management software.
• Track change notices and change orders in the database.
• Assist the Project Manager with proposals, RFPs, tenders, budgets, cash flows, and preliminary schedules.
• Issue revision notices, site instructions, and RFIs.
• Attend meetings, take minutes, and distribute them.
• Process shop drawings, create slab edge drawings, and handle file administration.
• Write progress reports and compile close‑out documentation, including warranty manuals and occupancy inspections.
• Perform miscellaneous AutoCAD drafting and distribute consultant and city reports to sub‑trades.
• Support the Project Manager with any additional project‑management tasks.

Required profile

• Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology or Technician’s Diploma with relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating with clients, sub‑trades, and coworkers.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail, paperwork organization, and problem‑solving abilities.

What we offer

• Contract length: 5 months (full‑time)
• Salary range: $55,000 – $70,000 CAD per year
