About the role
Our international law firm is seeking a Construction Litigation Lawyer to join its Toronto team. The role focuses on handling a range of construction disputes, including contract issues, procurement matters, and lien claims, across major projects and infrastructure. This is a permanent position intended to fill a vacant associate slot.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and litigate construction dispute matters for corporate clients.
- Conduct legal analysis of contracts, procurement agreements, and lien claims.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings related to construction projects.
- Collaborate with senior partners and other practice groups on complex infrastructure cases.
Required profile
- Minimum of three years’ experience in construction litigation.
- Demonstrated ability to work on a variety of construction disputes, including contracts, procurements, and lien claims.
- Experience with major projects and infrastructure litigation is essential.
- Strong analytical and written communication skills.
