Construction Labourer – Skilled Trades Support

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team and support a variety of building, renovation and infrastructure projects. You will work on residential, commercial and industrial sites, assisting tradespeople and ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment and organizing materials.
• Load, unload and transport materials and tools.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, masons and other trades as required.
• Perform concrete work, framing, drywall, roofing, demolition and general construction tasks.
• Measure and cut materials according to project specifications.
• Operate light construction equipment such as compactors, skid steers or forklifts when certified.
• Follow blueprints, drawings and supervisor instructions while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Required profile

• Experience in construction or a related field.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability, punctuality and a safety‑conscious attitude.
• Valid driver’s licence; WHMIS, Fall Protection or other construction safety certifications (mandatory).

• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s licence.

What we offer

• 10% vacation pay included on each paycheque.
• Typical shifts of 11–12 hours with overtime paid time‑and‑a‑half after 8 hours a day and after 40 hours per week.
