Claims Call Centre Associate

About the role

Zurich Canada is seeking a Claims Call Centre Associate to process routine and complex first reports of loss and support specialized projects for commercial lines. The role reports to the Claims Manager, Auto Personal Lines and works closely with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Process routine and complex first reports of loss from various channels, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow‑up.
• Handle technical duties and pilot projects on cutting‑edge initiatives for commercial lines.
• Manage intake of claims involving Centres of Expertise, coordinating routing and resources.
• Collaborate with underwriters, account managers, agents, and brokers to deliver customer‑focused service.
• Meet departmental quality, phone availability and productivity targets.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of customer service experience, or Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an associate degree.
• Minimum 18 months of contact‑centre experience; insurance knowledge is an asset.
• Ability to obtain required insurance licensing where applicable.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

• Salary range $48,000 – $64,000 CAD, based on skills and experience.
