About the role

Join Purdys Chocolatier’s new Champlain Place shop in Dieppe as a Chocolate Sales Connoisseur. This permanent part‑time position (10‑24 hours per week) offers the chance to introduce customers to award‑winning chocolates while delivering an exceptional retail experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers, sharing knowledge about chocolate origins, production, and product range.
• Drive sales by recommending products and upselling premium items.
• Maintain a clean, well‑stocked display and ensure product presentation meets brand standards.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the point‑of‑sale system accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily sales targets and support store opening/closing duties.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm for chocolate and willingness to complete the company’s training program.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous retail experience is an asset but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Basic cash handling and point‑of‑sale operation.
