Full-Time Assistant Manager

About the role

Hot Topic is looking for a full‑time Assistant Manager to help lead its busiest store in Dieppe. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop a passionate team and deliver an engaging in‑store experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in meeting sales targets and comp sales goals.
• Recruit, train and retain a collaborative, customer‑focused team.
• Promote new products and drive customer engagement through social media, BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Oversee operational tasks such as shrink control, payroll, scheduling and loss prevention.
• Analyze sales reports and use data to adjust strategies and hit targets.
• Merchandise the store according to planograms and launch promotions on schedule.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of retail store management experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams, handle recruiting, payroll, reporting and merchandising.
• Strong communication, time‑management and professionalism.
• High school diploma or GED; post‑secondary education is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑changing retail environment and handling merchandise up to 50 lb.
