About the role

We are looking for a caring and reliable child care provider to work in a private home in Vancouver. The role involves supporting the daily routine, safety, and development of school‑age and kindergarten children while following the parents' guidelines.

Key responsibilities

Discipline children according to parents' methods.
Teach personal hygiene and social skills.
Maintain daily activity and health records.
Ensure a safe, healthy home environment.
Organise games, outings and other activities.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
Supervise children throughout the day.
Transport children to school, appointments and activities.
Support children’s emotional well‑being.

Required profile

Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
1 – 7 months of child‑care experience.
First Aid Certificate.
Criminal record check and references.
Client‑focused, organized, reliable and flexible.

Required skills

What we offer

Hourly wage of CAD 20.
Optional live‑in accommodation at no charge (not a condition of employment).
Full‑time permanent schedule with morning and day shifts.
