About the role

We are looking for a caring and reliable child care provider to work in a private home in Vancouver. The role involves supporting the daily routine, safety, and development of school‑age and kindergarten children while following the parents' guidelines.

Key responsibilities

  • Discipline children according to parents' methods.
  • Teach personal hygiene and social skills.
  • Maintain daily activity and health records.
  • Ensure a safe, healthy home environment.
  • Organise games, outings and other activities.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
  • Supervise children throughout the day.
  • Transport children to school, appointments and activities.
  • Support children’s emotional well‑being.

Required profile

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
  • 1 – 7 months of child‑care experience.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Criminal record check and references.
  • Client‑focused, organized, reliable and flexible.

Required skills

    What we offer

    • Hourly wage of CAD 20.
    • Optional live‑in accommodation at no charge (not a condition of employment).
    • Full‑time permanent schedule with morning and day shifts.
