Change Management Consultant – Credit Operations & Lending

About the role

This 12‑month contract role supports enterprise‑wide transformation initiatives for a major Canadian financial institution. You will lead change management efforts across credit processing services, partnering with business leaders to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support change management initiatives for credit processing and lending operations.
• Develop and execute change management plans aligned with business priorities.
• Coordinate project planning, intake management, reporting, and execution activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and standardize workflows.
• Create communications, training materials, and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Conduct impact assessments, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project outcomes and recommend continuous improvement opportunities.
• Provide operational support for lending and credit administration activities as required.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional business experience, including 2+ years in banking.
• 2+ years of lending or credit operations experience.
• 2+ years leading process improvement, operational excellence, or business transformation initiatives.
• Business‑related education (e.g., Business Administration, Commerce, Finance).
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, collaborative environments.
