Career Coach – Community Services

About the role

We are seeking a Career Coach to support clients of Archway Community Services in Abbotsford. The role focuses on helping individuals overcome employment barriers, develop job‑search skills and connect with community resources.

Key responsibilities

• Interview clients to gather employment history, education and career goals.
• Identify barriers to employment and provide job‑readiness support such as résumé writing and interview preparation.
• Collect and share labour‑market information, job openings and skill requirements.
• Liaise with community agencies, refer clients to appropriate services and oversee apprenticeship training.
• Conduct training sessions for clients, students and staff on job‑search strategies and safety procedures.
• Provide job training and ongoing support to clients.
• Advise students on program curricula and career decisions.
• Train staff on company policies, safety procedures and job duties.

Required profile
