Call Center Sales Representative (Remote)

About the role

Langford Staffing is recruiting experienced Call Center Sales Representatives for a client running high-volume consumer calling campaigns. The position is full-time and remote, aligned with U.S. Eastern Time calling hours, with annual target earnings of C$40,000 to C$50,000 depending on performance. You will speak with consumers through an automatic dialer, explain the purpose of the call, ask brief qualification questions, handle objections and connect interested consumers with the appropriate sales representative. You will not complete the final sale.

Key responsibilities

• Make continuous outbound calls using an automatic dialer.
• Deliver clear and confident call openings and ask qualification questions naturally.
• Respond to rejection, suspicion and common objections, and build enough interest and trust to move qualified consumers forward.
• Secure permission for warm or live transfers and introduce the consumer to the receiving sales representative.
• Enter accurate call notes, outcomes and dispositions, respect opt-out requests and meet hourly and daily performance expectations.
• Campaigns may involve health benefits, insurance, telecommunications or other consumer products and services.

Required profile

• At least three years of recent experience in outbound calling, telesales, call-centre sales, lead generation, appointment setting or live transfers.
• Experience making high-volume calls through an automatic dialer and meeting call, transfer, appointment, conversion or sales targets.
• Strong spoken English and clear telephone communication; ability to stay calm and professional with difficult consumers.
• Availability to work full-time during U.S. Eastern Time calling hours.
• Home office setup: computer with at least 16 GB RAM, dual monitors (including an external one of at least 22 inches), wired USB noise-cancelling headset, webcam, quiet workspace, reliable wired internet of at least 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload, backup internet and power arrangements.

Required skills

• Experience with Convoso, Five9, NICE CXone, Genesys Cloud CX, CallTools, Readymode or a comparable dialer is preferred.
• Ability to use a dialer, CRM and campaign information simultaneously.
