Business Development Specialist (B2B Lead Generation)

About the role
City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a Business Development Specialist to generate B2B leads for its janitorial and non‑janitorial services. You will work from our Vancouver office, making outbound calls and emails to prospective clients and scheduling qualified appointments for the sales team.
Key responsibilities
- Research and identify businesses that could benefit from City Wide’s services.
- Make 80‑100 sales calls and emails per day to prospective clients.
- Qualify prospects and schedule appointments for the outside sales team.
- Maintain and update the Microsoft Dynamics CRM with call notes, client records, and appointment details.
- Prepare weekly or monthly activity reports as required.
- Achieve or exceed monthly lead‑generation and activity metrics.
- Send requested information, thank‑you notes, and follow‑up letters to prospects.
- Manage monthly email campaigns using the company platform.
Required profile
- High school diploma; college degree preferred but not required.
- 1‑2 years of B2B outbound call‑center or cold‑calling experience.
- Highly organized with the ability to follow a systematic sales process.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and effective communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented and capable of working independently.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience using a CRM system, specifically Microsoft Dynamics.
What we offer
- Competitive base pay of $20 CAD per hour plus performance‑based commission.
- Full‑time schedule (39 hours per week).
