About the role

The Business Development Representative drives growth in the global automotive aftermarket by prospecting, qualifying, and engaging potential customers through proactive cold‑calling. This role builds a healthy sales pipeline targeting parts distributors, suppliers, repair shops, and other key industry players, requiring persistence, product curiosity, and clear communication of our solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities in the automotive aftermarket via high‑volume outbound calls and targeted outreach.
  • Schedule qualified appointments for senior sales staff and research companies to assess fit for our solutions.
  • Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in the CRM and follow up on inbound leads when assigned.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly KPIs for calls, meetings, and qualified leads.
  • Track outreach activity in the CRM and provide weekly progress reports to the manager.

Required profile

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in sales, telemarketing, or customer service.
  • Familiarity with automotive aftermarket players, supply‑chain dynamics, and data standards such as ACES/PIES is a strong plus.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with CRM systems.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of outbound sales methodologies and qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT, MEDDIC).
  • Understanding of ACES/PIES data formats and their role in product cataloging.
