Senior Vision Care Field Sales Associate – Montreal East, North Shore & Abitibi

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Vision Care Field Sales Associate to serve the Montreal East, North Shore and Abitibi regions. You will work directly with Eye Care Practitioners, presenting Alcon’s innovative eye‑care solutions and helping them meet the needs of their patients and practices.

Key responsibilities

• Use a consultative approach to identify and address the needs of Eye Care Practitioners (ECPs) and their patients.
• Grow sales by influencing prescribing habits and positioning Alcon products as the first‑choice solution.
• Provide product and technical consultation, explaining scientific data and appropriate product use.
• Develop and execute a structured territory strategy using data tools, account information and Salesforce.com reporting.
• Plan daily calls, maintain timely customer follow‑up, and resolve issues within 24 hours.
• Leverage analytical tools to generate business insights and tailor the Alcon experience for each customer.
• Collaborate with regional teams to organize conferences, conventions and continuing‑education events.
• Contribute to regional sales initiatives and identify new opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent college diploma.
• 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in medical or eye‑care products.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
• Strong business acumen with proven analytical, organizational and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Salesforce.com (or similar CRM) proficiency.
