About the role
We are seeking a full‑time Business Development Manager to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. This hybrid position combines office collaboration with remote work, allowing you to drive growth while maintaining flexibility.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across target markets.
- Manage existing client accounts and nurture long‑term relationships.
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless product delivery and client satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals while meeting revenue targets.
Required profile
- Strong sales, business development, and account management experience.
- Proficiency in market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Experience using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Ability to work independently, meet targets, and adapt to a hybrid work environment.
- Prior experience or knowledge of the food industry, food processing, or product development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Marketing, or a related field.
