Business Development Executive

About the role

At Atos, we are building a specialised business development team that acts as the front‑edge of our growth engine. The Business Development Executive will focus on identifying, engaging and qualifying early‑stage opportunities in the public sector across Canada, with success measured by the quality and volume of pipeline created.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage multiple lead‑generation sources and an existing network of public‑sector technology leaders to initiate executive‑level conversations.
• Identify and engage key decision‑makers such as CIOs, CTOs, CISOs and digital transformation leaders.
• Monitor the market for buying signals related to AI, cybersecurity, cloud modernisation, digital transformation and data & analytics initiatives.
• Develop targeted outreach strategies to expand Atos’ presence within strategic public‑sector accounts.
• Lead early‑stage discovery calls, assess opportunity viability using structured qualification criteria and hand‑off validated opportunities to the sales pursuit team.

Required profile

• Proven track record of pipeline development in the public sector.
• Established network of technology and business leaders across Canada.
• Experience driving strategic conversations around cloud, AI, cybersecurity and digital transformation.
• Strong hunting mindset – thrives at opening doors and creating momentum.
