Business Banking Associate

About the role

Coast Capital is seeking a Business Banking Associate to support a team of Relationship Managers. You will assist with everyday banking products, cash‑management solutions, and the preparation of financial analysis and credit requests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process account opening, lending, and investment documentation in line with regulatory standards.
• Provide courteous, knowledgeable customer service and identify referral opportunities to other business lines.
• Support basic cash‑management products and refer complex cases to specialists.
• Assist Relationship Managers with credit applications, gather required information, and conduct initial financial analysis.
• Monitor credit compliance, analyse financial statements, and support pre‑funding due diligence.
• Collaborate with Syndications, Group Risk Management, and branch contacts to ensure smooth execution of banking solutions.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards within deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on member satisfaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business partners.

Required skills

• Knowledge of basic cash‑management and banking products.
• Understanding of credit analysis fundamentals.
