Bilingual Assistant Controller / Controller (English & Spanish)

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Assistant Controller/Controller to join a growing finance team. The professional will be responsible for financial reporting, month‑end close, and ensuring strong internal controls across multiple entities while partnering with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and reporting schedules.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reporting packages, and variance analyses.
• Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
• Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement initiatives.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership on financial and operational projects.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to accounting team members.

Required profile

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Experience in accounting, financial reporting, and month‑end close.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
