About the role
Are you interested in joining our team in this exciting and re‑energized adventure providing people with access to God’s Word? The Canadian Bible Society is looking for a dedicated Bible Store Assistant to work collaboratively with the Manager and Scripture Resources team at the Winnipeg store.
Key responsibilities
- Receive product, price, stock, merchandise and manage inventory efficiently.
- Handle customer inquiries, orders, complaints, and maintain customer lists.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry and reporting.
- Open and close the store, including security duties as needed.
Required profile
- Previous experience in retail operations.
- Personable with strong communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Bible, Christian books and merchandise.
- Understanding and empathy for the challenges of the local church setting and comfort across a broad ecumenical spectrum.
- Self‑confident, humble, authentic, and proactive.
- Resilient and able to maintain performance under adverse conditions.
