Assistant Video Editor (Remote – Montreal)

About the role

Kodify is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Video Editor to support a high‑volume, deadline‑driven post‑production team. You will work remotely with editors, directors and producers on adult‑entertainment content, ensuring smooth workflow from ingest to final export.

Key responsibilities

• Ingest, organize and sync 4K raw footage and audio assets.
• Create project files for multiple editors following post‑production guidelines.
• Prepare Premiere sequences for transfer to DaVinci Resolve via XML and re‑import colored footage.
• Assist with motion‑graphics, audio editing and any other editing tasks as needed.
• Perform quality‑control checks before and after final exports.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in Premiere Pro and related software.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional video‑editing experience using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and critical‑thinking skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection at home.
