About the role

Join Demetres Shops at Don Mills as an Artisan, where you’ll be part of a team that crafts handcrafted desserts, serves customers in a restaurant setting, and rotates through multiple specializations such as Dessert Crafter, Barista, Host, Dish Jockey, or Server.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and perform one of the core specializations (Dessert Crafter, Barista, Host, Dish Jockey, Server) and later cross‑train in additional roles.
• Prepare and present handcrafted desserts and craft ice‑cream items while providing friendly table service.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to the shop’s guiding principles.

Required profile

• Strong aptitude and personality that align with Demetres’ guiding principles (Deliver Wow, Own It, Better Together, Hustle Always, Towards Perfection).
• Comfortable with late‑hour shifts and a fast‑paced, challenging work environment.
• Willingness to learn multiple roles and continuously improve skills.
