Architectural Technical Coordinator

About the role

The Architectural Technical Coordinator will support the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension project by managing architectural design documentation and ensuring alignment with project specifications, schedules, and construction requirements. This role acts as a bridge between design consultants, engineers, and construction teams to deliver high‑quality architectural outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate architectural and technical aspects of the project among consultants, engineers, and construction teams.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and submittals for compliance with design intent and specifications.
• Resolve design and construction coordination issues and support the project team in technical meetings.
• Track and manage design changes, ensuring accurate distribution of revisions.
• Assist in preparing permit documentation, design change records, and as‑built drawings.
• Monitor quality control of architectural components during construction.
• Provide technical guidance to site and project management teams.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and client requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 + years experience in architectural coordination or technical roles on ICI or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of architectural detailing, building codes, and construction methods.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities.
