Architect – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Architect to lead the design and execution of construction projects. The role involves close collaboration with clients, contractors and internal teams to deliver buildings that meet functional, aesthetic and regulatory requirements. The position is based on‑site and requires regular presence at the construction location.

Key responsibilities

• Award construction contracts to building contractors and manage the procurement process.
• Consult with clients to define the type, style and purpose of renovations or new builds.
• Generate detailed building plans, sketches and models for use by contractors and tradespersons.
• Participate in contract negotiations and prepare documentation of structural needs and material specifications.
• Supervise the preparation of drawings, specifications and other construction documents.
• Conceptualize and design buildings, developing specifications, material lists, cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Conduct feasibility studies and financial analyses of building projects.
• Monitor construction site activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
• 2 to 3 years of professional experience in architectural design and construction.
• Willingness and ability to work on‑site full time.
• Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods and material specifications.
