Analyst, Real Estate Investments

About the role

The Analyst, Real Estate Investments will join the investment team in Toronto, reporting to the Managing Director, Investments. This full‑time role supports acquisition and disposition activities across core, development, and value‑add projects in major Canadian cities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, interpret, and communicate financial models for new and existing land acquisitions and development projects.
• Prepare valuation models for ground‑up developments or property repositioning, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to gather operational assumptions, development costs, market research, and risk analysis.
• Provide strategic insights using quantitative and qualitative data to inform land acquisition and project decisions.
• Enhance and create tools and templates to standardize project evaluation processes.
• Present findings in clear, professional presentations to internal and external stakeholders, outlining feasibility, opportunities, and risks.
• Track and report progress, timing, and updates on pipeline projects.
• Participate in internal development and investment meetings, offering analytical support.

Required profile

• University degree in architecture, planning, real‑estate development, or business/finance with a real‑estate emphasis.
• Approximately three years of varied real‑estate experience.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and solid financial acumen.
• Ability to produce detailed investment recommendation presentations and reports.
• Self‑starter with strategic thinking and a service‑oriented attitude.
• Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills, and high integrity.
