About the role

De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Ltd. is seeking an Aircraft Technician specialized in Avionics to join the Twin Otter final‑assembly line. Working under the Production Manager, you will contribute to the manufacturing and integration of avionics systems in a high‑precision aerospace environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform electrical wiring tasks and install avionics systems on aircraft during production.
  • Interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, system schematics, engineering orders and manufacturer installation manuals.
  • Maintain a basic understanding of related aircraft systems such as hydraulics, flight controls and major components to support avionics work.
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair communication, navigation, flight‑control and entertainment systems ensuring safety and functionality.
  • Fabricate and repair parts and components according to drawings, create wire bundles, label wires and securely bundle assemblies.

Required profile

  • Basic knowledge of standard wiring practices and avionics systems.
  • Ability to accurately read and apply technical documentation (manuals, schematics, service bulletins).
  • Understanding of aircraft hydraulic, flight‑control and major component systems.
  • Capability to work safely in a production environment and follow quality standards.
