Aircraft Technician – Avionics

About the role

De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Ltd. is seeking an Aircraft Technician specialized in Avionics to join the Twin Otter final‑assembly team. Working under the Production Manager, you will contribute to the manufacturing of high‑performance aircraft by performing avionics installations and related tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical wiring and system installations in a production environment.
• Interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, system schematics, engineering orders and manufacturer installation manuals.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair avionics systems, including communication, navigation, flight‑control and entertainment equipment.
• Support other aircraft systems such as hydraulics, flight controls and major components to ensure comprehensive avionics work.
• Fabricate and repair parts and components according to drawings, create wire bundles, label wires and securely bundle assemblies.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of standard wiring practices and avionics systems.
• Ability to read and apply technical documentation accurately.
• Understanding of aircraft hydraulic and flight‑control systems.
