Accounts Receivable Collector - Gore Bay

About the role

Manitoulin Transport, which operates the most extensive transportation network in North America, is hiring an Accounts Receivable Collector in Gore Bay. The department is fast-paced and time-sensitive, with deadlines that must be met.

Key responsibilities

• Make daily collection calls based on the aging of past-due accounts.
• Help customers keep their accounts within agreed payment terms, such as 30 days.
• Provide customers with on-time daily, weekly or monthly invoicing by online reports, email or billing reports, according to customer preference.
• Answer incoming A/R phone calls from internal and external customers promptly.
• Reply to customer emails within 24 hours of receipt.

Required profile

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Motivated and able to adapt to individual customers' needs to meet department targets.
• Able to multitask and cover duties across collections, cash applications and customer master data when colleagues are away.

Required skills

• Comfort with Google Sheets or spreadsheets is an asset.
