About the role
We are looking for an Accounting Technician to support our finance team in Concord. The role involves processing payroll, managing fixed assets, maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, and preparing a range of financial reports.
Key responsibilities
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll and manage related tax withholdings.
- Compute fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
- Maintain financial records and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and prepare trial balances.
- Generate statistical, financial and accounting reports, including tax returns.
Required profile
- 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, organized and a team player.
