Accounting Officer – Reconciliation

About the role

The Accounting Officer, Reconciliation is a subject‑matter expert who supports the Global Operations branch and its domestic units. Working closely with internal partners and external vendors, the officer delivers specialized reconciliation services in a customer‑focused, centralized environment while ensuring compliance with regulatory and bank policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide best‑in‑class customer service by maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of processes, systems, and policy changes.
• Manage inbound escalations through a triage system to meet Service Level Agreement commitments.
• Complete daily volume‑tracking activities to ensure optimal branch support.
• Identify, escalate, and help resolve trends, problems, and opportunities.
• Assist in reallocating resources for unplanned activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to operational, regulatory, AML/ATF, and conduct risk controls as defined in the bank’s risk management frameworks.
• Support business continuity planning and execution.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑focused mindset with the ability to prioritize and triage issues.
• Experience in reconciliation or related accounting functions within a banking environment.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance, AML/ATF guidelines, and operational risk frameworks.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet SLA targets, and contribute to process improvements.
