About the role
MINISO Canada is expanding and seeks an Accountant specialized in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to support finance operations across multiple store locations and corporate functions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage full‑cycle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
- Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments and collections.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
- Perform regular bank and account reconciliations.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with internal departments (operations, merchandising, stores) to ensure smooth financial processes.
- Prepare reports and analyze data to support business decisions.
Required profile
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in AR/AP functions.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eligible to work in Canada.

- QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)
- SAP (or similar ERP/accounting system)
