Access & Reimbursement Manager (Field‑Based)

About the role

The Access & Reimbursement Manager will act as the dedicated market‑access resource for an assigned territory, supporting healthcare providers in navigating payer requirements, reimbursement processes, and patient support services for cardiovascular products.

Key responsibilities

• Educate provider offices—including primary care, cardiology and other specialties—on payer policies, prior authorizations, appeals and denial management.
• Develop and execute a territory access plan aligned with client‑defined objectives.
• Coordinate compliantly with sales, market access, patient services, hub/specialty pharmacy partners and other matrix stakeholders.
• Document all activities in the approved CRM platform and maintain accurate records of patient‑level access issues.
• Serve as the local expert on formulary coverage, utilization management requirements and pharmacy access pathways.
• Provide in‑person visits and act as a liaison between providers and patient‑assistance programs.

Required profile

• Experience working in a field‑based, healthcare‑access environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of retail and specialty pharmacy reimbursement processes.
• Ability to work within defined Rules of Engagement and handle protected health information (PHI) responsibly.
• Excellent communication skills for educating HCPs and office staff.
